Become a volunteer- International Wheelchair rugby returns to New Zealand

Volunteers Wanted - World Wheelchair Rugby Paralympic Qualification Tournament

We are looking for volunteers to help for some or all of the tournament (16 March – 25 March) in Wellington, and also volunteers in Auckland and/or Christchurch when the teams arrive and depart NZ, and we're hoping you are willing to circulate our call for volunteers through your network.

Are you interested in being a volunteer for this tournament?

The tournament will be held at NZCIS - NZ Campus of Innovation and Sport in Trentham, Upper Hutt in March, and will give Kiwis the chance to support the Wheel Blacks in their bid to qualify. NZCIS has the most accessible accommodation and high performance facilities in New Zealand and is an ideal venue for this tournament.

Volunteers Wanted

If you are interested, please complete the registration form telling us what skills you have (e.g., you have a full NZ Drivers License and are comfortable driving a van) and what your availability is.

The Teams and Technical Officials arrive 16-17 March, the next few days are team trainings and the competition starts 20 March with the finals on 24 March. Teams and Technical Officials depart 25 March.

We are also looking for volunteers in Auckland and Christchurch to be our first point of contact who can meet and greet the teams as they arrive in the country.
