NZWR is please to announce the events for the upcoming 2023 wheelchair rugby season. The domestic season will start with an introduction development camp and is followed by; a 5's Bash tournament, Low pointers, 2 rounds of WRC and rounding out the season will be our pinnacle Nationals event. 

The details and registration fees are as below

• Introduction development camp, 18th-19th Feb in Auckland
• The Bash, A North Island and South Island separate tournaments. North Island  18th-19th March in Te Aroha. South Island to be confirmed. $50 per player
• WRC 1 29th-30th April in BOP. WRC 2 17th-18th June in Wellington $700 per Team
• Nationals, 1st-3rd September  in Christchurch $500 per team
• Low Pointers, 16th-17th September in Te Awamutu (Waikato) $450 per Team

The proposed High Performance season will consist of HP camps with an aim of attending three tournaments; the Australian Nationals, Asia-Oceania Championships and Wheelchair Rugby Cup.

NZWR is also looking to introduce a development program with details of this to be confirmed.
