Over the past few weeks of lockdown, our Otago team have been taking this time to catch up via zoom. We have been learning tactics and strategy, as well as basic rules by watching games and videos of the Wheel Blacks training. We are a new team and we are super lucky to have the support from more experienced players like Greg, Rob and Antonio joining in on these sessions.

It’s not always business, we also make time to catch up and just spin some yarns with the team.

We have taken this time away from court to gain a better understanding of the game and the rules. We have been connecting with the Referee team to make sure we are up to date for when the season resumes.

Make sure to keep in touch with your rugby mates and if anyone wants to join in on a zoom session with us in Otago you are more than welcome to join - Kirsty, Kelsey, Mia, Otago Wheelchair Rugby.
